🢒 Coaxial Cable Replacement
Removal Procedure
Remove the left sail panel. Refer to
Sail Panel Replacement
in Interior Trim.
Disconnect the antenna coaxial cable (1) from the antenna module (3).
Remove the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to
Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement
in Interior Trim.
Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to
Rear Seat Cushion Replacement
in Seats.
Remove the rear seat back. Refer to
Rear Seat Back Replacement
in Seats.
Remove the front seat. Refer to
Seat Replacement
in Seats.
Remove the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to
Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side
in Interior Trim.
Disconnect the antenna coaxial cable from the radio.
Fold the left side of the carpet inwards to access the main body wiring harness. Refer to
Floor Panel Carpet Replacement
in Interior Trim.
Important:
Do not cut the coaxial cable from the main body harness.
Cut off the ends of the cable at the body harness near the rocker panel, leaving the old cable in the body harness.
Installation Procedure
Route the new antenna coaxial cable next to the harness.
Tape the cable to the body wiring harness.
Connect the antenna coaxial cable to the radio.
Connect the antenna coaxial cable (1) to the antenna module (3).
Install the carpet. Refer to
Floor Panel Carpet Replacement
in Interior Trim.
Install the front seat. Refer to
Seat Replacement
in Seats.
Install the rear seat back. Refer to
Rear Seat Back Replacement
in Seats.
Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to
Rear Seat Cushion Replacement
in Seats.
Install the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to
Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement
in Interior Trim.
Install the left rear sail trim panel. Refer to
Sail Panel Replacement
in Interior Trim.
