Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 861440 Size: SH
  1. Use a plastic, flat-bladed tool to remove the fender molding from the fender.

    2. Object Number: 321645 Size: SH
  2. Remove all adhesive from the body panel using 3M™ ScotchBrite molding adhesive remover disk 3M™ P/N 07501 or equivalent.
  3. Clean the body panel surface using Varnish Makers and Painters (VMP) naphtha and allow to air dry.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 861440 Size: SH
  1. If reusing the molding, apply new adhesive tape to the molding.

    2. Remove the backing from the adhesive tape.

  2. Align the molding using the locater pins.
  3. Press the molding to the fender.

    4. Assure proper wetout of the adhesive by applying heavy hand pressure against the molding at the upper and the lower tape locations. Rub along the entire length of the molding.
