Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 861473 Size: SH
  1. Remove the screw (4) from the front wheelhouse area.
  2. Pull the bottom edge of the rocker panel molding (1) away from the rocker panel to disengage the lower retainers (2).
  3. Use a flat-bladed tool to gently release the rocker panel molding (1) from the upper retainer clips (3).
  4. Remove the molding (1) from the body.
  5. Remove the damaged push-in retainers, if needed, from the following components:
    6. • The body
    • The rocker panel molding

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 861473 Size: SH
  1. Install the new retainers, as needed.
  2. Position the molding (1) to the vehicle.
  3. Press the top edge of the molding onto the door sill.
  4. Press the molding in order to engage the retainers (2,3).
  5. Install the screw (4) to the front wheelhouse area.
