Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 562549 Size: SH
  1. Remove the wheelhouse in order to access the lower end of the front drain hose. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
  2. Remove the headliner in order to access the drain hose connections. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Cut the tie wraps from the drain hoses.
  4. Disconnect the front drain hoses from the sunroof module assembly.
  5. Disconnect the hose from the attachments on the windshield pillar.
  6. Remove the grommet from the lower end of the front drain hoses.
  7. Pull the front drain hoses upwards through the windshield pillar.
  8. Remove the front drain hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 562549 Size: SH

    Important: When installing the drain hose tie wraps, position the tie wraps in order to maintain clearance between the tie wraps and the headliner.

  1. Install new tie wraps in order to secure the drain hoses to the sunroof module assembly drain spouts.
  2. Route the drain hoses down through the windshield pillars to the wheelhouse opening.
  3. Install the grommet over the lower end of the front drain hoses.
  4. Secure the grommet to the drain hoses.
  5. Secure the grommet to the wheelhouse.
  6. Install the front wheelhouse. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
  7. Remove the excessive slack in the hose, if applicable.
  8. Trim the excess hose flush with the flange.
  9. Secure the drain hoses to the attachments on the windshield pillar.
  10. Connect the front drain hoses to the drain spout on the sunroof module assembly.
  11. Install the headliner to the roof panel. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
