Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the headliner in order to access the drain hose connections. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

  2. Object Number: 562533  Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear drain hoses from the retaining clips (1).
  4. Pull the upper portion of the rear drain hoses out through the access holes in the rear sail panels.

  5. Object Number: 562541  Size: SH
  6. Remove the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
  7. Remove the lower portion of the rear drain hose from the electrical pass-thru grommet.
  8. Pull the lower portion of the rear drain hose up through the access hole in the rear shelf extension panel.
  9. Remove the drain hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the upper end of the rear drain hoses onto the drain tubes of the sunroof module.

  2. Object Number: 562541  Size: SH

    Important: When installing the drain hose clamps, position the clamps in order to maintain clearance between the clamps and the headliner.

  3. Use new tie wraps to clamp the hoses in place.
  4. Route the rear drain hoses through the access holes in the sail panel.
  5. Secure the rear drain hoses to the body with clip (1).
  6. Install the grommet over the end of the rear drain hoses.
  7. Pull the rear drain hoses down through the hole in the rear shelf extension.
  8. Engage the grommet in the rear shelf extension.
  9. Install the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.

  10. Object Number: 562533  Size: SH
  11. Install the rear drain hoses to the body electrical pass-thru grommet.
  12. Secure the drain hose to the sail panel attachment clips.
  13. Connect the drain hose to the sunroof module.
  14. Install the headliner to the roof panel, with the aid of an assistant. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
