Removal Procedure

    Caution: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce the chance of personal injury.


    Object Number: 258903 Size: SH
  1. Remove the 3 screws from the trough and shield assembly.
  2. Slide the trough and shield assembly to the rear.
  3. Cycle the window panel to the vent position.
  4. Remove the 3 screws (1) from each side of the window panel.
  5. Remove the window panel from the opening.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 258903 Size: SH
  1. Install the window panel in the opening.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the 3 screws (1) to each side of the window panel.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  3. Close the window panel to the flush position.
  4. Install the 3 screws to the trough and shield assembly.
  5. Adjust the window panel if necessary. Refer to Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment .
