Condition

Some customers may comment that during vehicle acceleration or braking, the front seat assembly will move/rock forward and rearward.

Cause

This fore/aft chuck condition may be due to an increase in clearances within the cage nut system of the adjuster's horizontal actuator and drive assembly.

Replace the seat adjuster horizontal actuator assembly. A new Seat Adjuster Horizontal Actuator Assembly (4) is now available for service.
