IPC Scan Tool Output Controls

Scan Tool Output Control	Additional Menu Selections	Description
Displays Test	Output Control	The scan tool displays Commanded State: None, Off or On. When you select ON, the IPC illuminates the indicators, the PRNDL segments, and the odometer segments for 5 seconds.

Heating And Air Conditioning Scan Tool Output Controls

Scan Tool Output Control	Additional Menu Selections	Description
Afterblow	Set Options	Allows the blower motor to run after the ignition is turned OFF.
Air Inlet Door Position	HVAC Motors	The scan tool displays Outside or Recirc selections. This function drives the actuator to its minimum (ambient air) or maximum (recirculate) stops for 20 seconds.
Blower Motor	Miscellaneous Test	The scan tool displays Commanded State: None, Off, or On. This function allows you to command the blower motor to its maximum (100%) or minimum (0%) speeds for 5 seconds.
Htr./Def./A/C Door Position	HVAC Motors	The scan tool displays A/C or Defrost positions. This function drives the actuator to its minimum (defrost) or maximum (A/C) positions for 20 seconds.
HVAC Recalibration	Miscellaneous Test	The scan tool displays Commanded State: none or On. This functions commands the actuators to their fully opened and fully closed positions, and relearns these endpoints.
Instant OAT Update	Miscellaneous Test	The scan tool displays Commanded State: None, Off, or On. This function updates the IPM ambient air temperature input to the current raw value.
Left Temp Door Position	HVAC Motors	The scan tool displays Hot or Cold selections. The selection drives the actuator to its minimum (cold) or maximum (hot) positions for 20 seconds.
Right Temp Door Position	HVAC Motors	The scan tool displays Hot or Cold selections. The selection drives the actuator to its minimum (hot) or maximum (cold) positions for 20 seconds.
Second Head LED Driver	Miscellaneous Test	The scan tool displays 0% or 100% selections. Selecting 0% will cause all LEDs for the temperature selected to turn OFF for 5 seconds.

PCM Scan Tool Output Controls

Scan Tool Output Control	Additional Menu Selections	Description
A/C Relay	Engine Output Controls	The scan tool displays ON or OFF selections. This command allows you to turn the A/C relay ON or OFF for 5 seconds. When the A/C relay is commanded ON, the A/C compressor clutch should be engaged.
