Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle?

Go to Step  2

  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Turn ON and OFF the cornering lamps.

Did the cornering lamps operate properly?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

Do the turn signals operate properly?

Go to Step 4

Go to Turn Signal Lamps and/or Indicators Inoperative

  1. Disconnect the inoperative cornering lamp bulb.
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. Turn ON the inoperative cornering lamp.
  4. Connect a test lamp between the cornering lamp supply voltage circuit of the inoperable cornering lamp and the ground circuit of the inoperative cornering lamp.

Did the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 6

Test the cornering lamp supply voltage circuit for an high resistance or a open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 9

Inspect for poor connections at the cornering lamp bulb. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Repair the open in the ground circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 9

Replace the cornering lamp bulb.

Did you complete the replacement?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

System OK
