Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 428029  Size: SH
  1. Remove the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement in Seats.
  2. Use the following steps in order to remove the inside trim panel:
  3. 2.1. Pull the inside trim panel outward.
    2.2. Release the three retainer clips.
    2.3. Remove the inside trim panel.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  5. Remove the buckle assembly retaining nut.
  6. Remove the inner buckle assembly.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the inner buckle assembly.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the nut.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  5. Connect the electrical connector.
  6. Install the inside trim panel.
  7. Install the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement in Seats.
