Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 537228 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the harness electrical connector from the wiper motor cover.
  2. Remove three screws from the wiper motor cover.
  3. Remove the wiper motor cover from the wiper motor assembly.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the wiper motor cover to the wiper motor assembly.

    2. Object Number: 537228 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the 3 screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 3 N·m (26 lb in).

  3. Connect the harness electrical connector to the wiper motor cover.
  4. Verify the wiper motor operation.
