Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear compartment trim on the rear seat. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Important: Note the position of the antenna on the rear self.

  3. Remove the push-pin fasteners (2, 3) retaining the global position sensor (GPS) antenna (1).

  4. Object Number: 660176  Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the GPS antenna cable (2) from the vehicle interface unit (VIU) module.
  6. Remove the GPS antenna from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Route the global position sensor (GPS) antenna cable on the rear self using the fasteners on the cable.
  2. Important: The antenna (1) must be in the upward position as noted in the removal procedure.

  3. Install the GPS antenna (1) to the rear self.

  4. Object Number: 660176  Size: SH
  5. Connect the GPS antenna cable (2) to the vehicle interface unit (VIU) module.
  6. Install the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  7. Park the vehicle outside and verify the system is operative.
