The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
No audio for the video system through the vehicles speakers. Headphones will work normally. Further inspection will show that there is a harness missing or an unused connector under the center console. These connector(s) are C220 and/or C221.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If the vehicle has no audio output for the video system only through the vehicles speakers and connections at C220 or C221 are not used, install jumper harness part number 15179452.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
