- Inspect all components or sub-components and perform any repair procedure necessary to fix the damage. If the damage cannot be repaired, replace the component or sub-component as indicated.
- Clean all components in cleaning solvent and air dry.

Inspect for damage or excessive looseness on the propeller shaft. |

| Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Two/Four Wheel Drive Driven Sprocket Splines

Inspect for damage or excessive looseness on the driven sprocket. |

| Transfer Case Input Shaft Seal Surface
Tip
Inspect for pitting, excessive wear, or damage. |

| Transfer Case Input Shaft Front Input Double Row Ball Bearing Surface
Tip
Inspect for pitting, excessive wear, or damage. |

| Transfer Case Input Shaft Engagement Splines
Tip
Inspect for damage or looseness on the front/rear drive differential carrier assembly and the transmission output shaft. |

| Transfer Case Input Shaft Bore Seal
Tip
Replace the seal if removed. |

| Transfer Case Input Gear Thrust Bearing
Tip
Inspect for pitting, excessive wear, or damage. If wear or damage is found, replace the bearing. Refer to
