Rear Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement for Buick Rainier 2007

1. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
2. Remove the latch release assembly. Refer to Rear Number 1 Seat Back Release Latch Replacement .
3. Remove the head restraint retractor assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Number 1 Head Restraint Retractor Assembly Replacement .
4. Remove the seat back hinge brackets. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Hinge Replacement .
5. Remove the seat belt retractor assembly, on the left side only. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - No. 1 Center Rear .



6. Remove the latch release cable (1), and the head rest restraint cable (2) from the left-hand hinge bracket.



7. Remove the latch release cables from the right-hand hinge bracket.

1. Install the latch release cable to the right-hand hinge bracket.



2. Install the seat belt retractor assembly, on the left side only. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - No. 1 Center Rear .
3. Install the seat back hinge brackets. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Hinge Replacement .
4. Install the head restraint retractor assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Number 1 Head Restraint Retractor Assembly Replacement .
5. Install the latch release assembly. Refer to Rear Number 1 Seat Back Release Latch Replacement .
6. Install the latch release cables (1) and the head rest restraint cable  (2) to the left-hand hinge bracket.
7. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
