Removal Procedure
Drain the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Remove the air intake resonator. Refer to
Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement
for the 5.3L engine or
Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement
for the 6.0L engine.
Using
J 38185
reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp (1) from the engine.
Remove the outlet hose from the engine.
Using
J 38185
reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp (2) from the radiator.
Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
Installation Procedure
Install the inlet hose to the radiator.
Using
J 38185
reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp to the radiator.
Install the inlet hose to the engine.
Using
J 38185
reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp to the engine (1).
Install the air intake resonator. Refer to
Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement
for the 5.3L engine or
Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement
for the 6.0L engine.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.

Removal Procedure

Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to
Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement
.
Using
J 38185
reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp (1) from the engine.
Remove the radiator outlet hose from the engine.
Using
J 38185
reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp (2) from the radiator.
Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
Installation Procedure
Install the radiator inlet hose to the radiator.
Using
J 38185
reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp (2) to the radiator.
Install the radiator inlet hose to the engine.
Using
J 38185
reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp (1) to the engine.
Install the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to
Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement
.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
