EI07148 - Bump Thump Felt from Driveline or Rear Suspension after Braking (No Repair at This Time)

This bulletin is being revised to end the need for information from the field. Engineering will continue to root cause this condition. Submit a Field Product Report for any vehicles that come in with this condition. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 07-04-17-001 (Section 04 -- Driveline/Axle).

Some customers may comment on a bump-thump from the rear of the vehicle after coming to a complete stop. This condition may be felt intermittently and not necessarily after every stop.

GM Engineering has received enough components and information from the field. They are continuing to root-cause this condition. This bulletin will be updated when a field fix has been developed and validated.

Submit a field product report (refer to Service Bulletin 02-00-89-002F) for any vehicles that come in with this condition.
