FRONT DOOR WINDOW CLICKING OR CREAKING - (REPLACE WINDOW REGULATOR)
Some 1988 Rivieras may experience a clicking or creaking noise from the front door windows during either up or down travel. This condition may be caused by an incorrect surface finish of the counterbalance spring on the regulator assembly.
To repair this condition, replace the entire window regulator assembly with the part numbers listed below:
