The CRT display for "Fuel Economy MPG Average," on 1988 Rivieras and Reattas may be computed from 15% to 20% lower than the vehicle is actually getting.
A recalibrated Mem-Cal has been developed to correct this condition, and parts are currently available through General Motors Service Parts Operations (GMSPO) under the following part numbers:
