CUSTOM LOCKING WIRE WHEEL COVERS / SPECIAL HUB NUTS

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 21, 1982, FACTORY 40 BEGAN INSTALLING SPECIAL WHEEL HUB NUTS ON THE WHEELS OF ALL 1982 REGALS ORDERED WITH OPTION CODE N91, CUSTOM LOCKING WIRE WHEEL COVERS. TWELVE (12) WHEEL HUB NUTS ARE FURNISHED WITH EACH VEHICLE. THIS PROCEDURE WILL BE CONTINUED FOR 1983 MODEL REGALS.

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 21, 1982, FACTORY 04 BEGAN TAPING PACKAGES OF TWELVE (12) WHEEL HUB NUTS TO THE CARTON CONTAINING OPTION CODE N91, CUSTOM LOCKING WIRE WHEEL COVERS FOR ALL 1982 LESABRES AND ELECTRAS.

EFFECTIVE JULY 19, 1982, FACTORY 04 WILL BEGIN INSTALLING SPECIAL WHEEL HUB NUTS ON ALL 1982 LESABRES AND ELECTRAS. THIS PROCEDURE WILL BE CONTINUED FOR 1983 MODEL LESABRES AND ELECTRAS.

TRANSPORTATION CLAIMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR THE SHORTAGE OF WHEEL HUB NUTS UNLESS THIS CONDITION IS PROPERLY NOTED ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT AT THE TIME OF VEHICLE INSPECTION AT THE DEALERSHIP.
