CAMPAIGN:BRACKET INTERFERENCE RUBBING THROUGH BRAKE LINE

Campaign Bulletin 83-C-7 lists an incorrect part number on pages 3 and 5 for the service brake pipe. If a brake pipe is required for this campaign, part number 25519243 should be ordered from WDDGM on a C.I.O. order with no special instruction code, but order on an advise Code (2).

All references in 83-C-7 bulletin to the rear brakes, rear pipe, or rear brake systems are in error and should read front brakes, front pipe, or front brake system.

On page 2 of this bulletin are revised illustrations which are to be used when performing this campaign.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
