OIL COOLER ADAPTER SEAL AND TORQUE SPECIFICATION

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1986-87, G MODELS WITH 3.8L ENGINE

A new O-Ring Seal, Part Number 25530999 has been released for service. The new O-Ring increases the sealing of the oil cooler adapter to the oil pump cover. The proper torque value for the adapter retainer to the front cover is 50 N.m (37 lbs. ft.).
