CRUISE CONTROL LAMP BACKGROUND GLOWS WITH CRUISE OFF

MODELS AFFECTED: 1988 REGALS WITH THE OPTIONAL UB3 ELECTRONIC CLUSTER

Some comments have been received that the background of the "Cruise" warning lamp glows when the cruise control is not engaged. This is a normal condition for this cluster. The word "Cruise" will come on whenever the cruise control is engaged, and will not appear when the cruise control is "off".

No repair should be attempted for this normal condition.
