REAR SPEAKER FALLS DOWN FROM REAR SHELF

MODELS AFFECTED: 1988 BUICK REGAL

During hot, humid weather conditions, some 1988 Buick Regals may experience a condition where the plastic wing nuts that hold the rear speaker boxes to the rear shelf loosen or fall off.

If this occurs, replace the existing nuts (2) with steel wing nuts, Part Number 25512090 or standard metric nuts, Part Number 11507095, that have an M6xl thread.
