HOOD RELEASE BREAKS AND/OR CABLE BINDS

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1988-1989 GRAND PRIX

Replace complete release lever and cable assembly to correct the condition.

NOTE: Do not use the lever from the new lever and cable assembly to replace the broken lever in the vehicle. The condition is caused by a "binding" cable that overloads the lever and causes it to fail.
