Condition:

Door lock opening effort on 1990 Buick Regal Coupes could be high on vehicles built prior to VIN 2G4WB14T5L1432425.

Cause:

Deflection of lock/handle escutcheon by retaining screw.

Correction:

Remove inside door handle escutcheon. Apply adhesive backed spacer, p/n #10185498 as illustrated. Reinstall escutcheon.
