SUBJECT: LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT COURTESY LAMP FLICKERS (REPOSITION LAMP ASSEMBLY)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1990 BUICK REGAL

CONDITION:

---------- Luggage compartment courtesy lamp flickers when compartment lid is in full open position.

CAUSE:

------ Improper mercury switch angle at full open position.

CORRECTION:

----------- The lamp assembly should be repositioned as shown in Figure 1 to provide the appropriate angle.
