WIRE WHEEL COVER LOOSE/RATTLES NEW BRKT. DESIGN RELEASED

SUBJECT: WIRE WHEEL COVER APPEARS LOOSE AND RATTLES AGAINST WHEEL RIM (REPLACE BRACKETS WITH NEW ONES)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1990-91 BUICK 'W' W/RPO N91

Condition:

----------- Wire wheel cover may appear to be loose and rattle against wheel rim.

Cause:

------ Some mounting brackets may be too long and not allow the wire wheel cover to be drawn up snug against the wheel rim.

Correction:

----------- As of VIN M1844357, brackets have been installed in Production that are 5 mm shorter. If a vehicle is found with this condition, replace the four existing brackets with four new brackets P/N 10200016.
