THIS BULLETIN IS BEING REVISED TO ADD THE 1994 MODEL YEAR. PREVIOUS DIVISIONAL PUBLICATION NUMBERS WERE:

SOME OWNERS MAY COMMENT THAT THE SHOULDER BELT CONTACTS OR RUBS AGAINST THEIR NECK.
INSTALL A SHOULDER BELT GUIDE KIT P/N 12522269 WHICH WILL DIRECT THE BELT AWAY FROM THE NECK AREA FOR MOST DRIVERS/PASSENGERS.
THIS KIT IS TO BE USED FOR 1992-94 MODELS ONLY.
EACH KIT CONTAINS ENOUGH PARTS FOR BOTH FRONT DOORS. TWO (2) GUIDES TWO (2) NUTS ONE (1) INSTRUCTION SHEET
1. LOWER FRONT DOOR WINDOW GLASS AND REMOVE SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LOOP PLUG. 2. REMOVE GUIDE LOOP RETAINING NUT (USING A 15 MM SOCKET), SAVE BUSHING FOR REINSTALLATION AND DISCARD NUT. 3. INSTALL GUIDE ASSEMBLY OVER GUIDE LOOP. BE SURE GUIDE LOOP STUD IS CENTERED IN OPENING AT REAR OF GUIDE ASSEMBLY. 4. REINSTALL GUIDE LOOP AND NEW BELT GUIDE TO DOOR UPPER USING BUSHING RETAINED IN STEP 2 AND NEW NUT SUPPLIED WITH KIT. TORQUE TO 24 N.M (18-24 LB. FT.).
5. ROUTE THE BELT THROUGH THE GUIDE ASSEMBLY.
6. REPEAT ABOVE PROCEDURE ON OPPOSITE DOOR.
