TAPE PLAYER STORAGE COMPARTMENT LINING LOOSE-INFO.

SUBJECT: TAPE PLAYER STORAGE COMPARTMENT LINING LOOSE (INFORMATIONAL)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1992 "W" MODEL (RPO UM6)

APPLICATION: 1992 BUICK W-CAR WITH UM6 RADIO

CONDITION:

On the 1992 W-car with UM6 radio, the tape player is remote mounted. The lining of the cassette storage area may be loose. Attempts to reglue this lining are usually unsuccessful, and may harm the plastic.

CORRECTION:

Remove the tape player following instructions in Section 8C of the Service Manual. Return to your normal Radio Repair Center, and state "Repair per Document #RD92TBA07" on the repair ticket.
