WIRE PROTECTOR SHIELD OF THE STEERING COLUMN CONTACTS THE YOKE OF THE RACE AND UPPER SHAFT ASSEMBLY RESULTING IN A CLICK/SCRUB TYPE NOISE (REFERENCE FIGURE 1).
REPLACE EXISTING WIRE PROTECTOR SHIELD WITH A NEW DESIGN COMPONENT, P/N 26047737, FOLLOWING SERVICE PROCEDURE IN APPLICABLE SERVICE MANUAL, SECTION 3F5A OR 3F5B, TILT STEERING COLUMN UNIT REPAIR.
PARTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE AVAILABLE ON 7/4/94.
