    Object Number: 74332 Size: SH
  8. Remove the intermediate exhaust pipe bolts from the three way catalytic converter.
  9. Remove the intermediate exhaust pipe.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 74332 Size: SH
  1. Install the new intermediate exhaust pipe.

  2. Object Number: 33038 Size: SH
  3. Install the clamp to the original muffler. Do not tighten the clamp nut.

  4. Object Number: 33002 Size: SH
  5. Install the bolts to the three way catalytic converter.

  6. Object Number: 74332 Size: SH
  7. Install the insulators, the hangers, and the bolts, as used.
  8. Tighten

        • Tighten the clamp nut to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
        • Tighten the bolts to the three way catalytic converter to 47 N·m (35 lb ft).

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

        • Lower the vehicle.
