Are there any bulb filaments open?

Replace the sunshade illuminated mirror lamp bulb(s).

  1. Remove the sunshade from the headliner. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement
  2. Turn the ignition switch from LOCK to RUN.
  3. Connect a test light between the sunshade illuminated mirror harness connector terminals 1 and ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

Connect a test light between the sunshade illuminated mirror harness connector terminals 1 and 2.

Does the test light illuminate?

Repair a poor connection in circuit 1732 between the sunshade illuminated mirror and S386.

Has the repair been made?

Go to Step 10

  1. Check the sunshade illuminated mirror connector terminal for a poor connection.
  2. If OK replace sunshade.

Repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 850.

Has the repair been made?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
  2. Reinstall the connectors/components that were removed.

Have all the repairs been made?
