Did you perform the Instrument Cluster System Check?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

1. Connect a scan tool and enter into instrument cluster diagnostics.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Enter into special functions and WOW the cluster ON.

Does the Low Washer Fluid indicator illuminate?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 8

1. WOW the instrument cluster OFF.
2. Disconnect the windshield washer solvent level switch connector.
3. Turn ON the ignition switch.
4. Short terminal A circuit 99 BLK/WHT to ground.

Does the Low Washer Fluid indicator illuminate?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

With the DMM on the ohms scale, measure the resistance of circuit 1450 BLK terminal B to ground.

Is the resistance within the specified range?

0-5 ohms

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Locate and repair an open in circuit 99 BLK/WHT.

Did you find and repair a circuit problem?

Go to Step 8

Locate and repair an open in circuit 1450 BLK.

Did you find a repair a circuit problem?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

Go to Step 8

Replace the windshield washer solvent level switch. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

Replace the instrument panel cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
