Did you perform the Instrument Cluster System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

1. Connect a scan tool and enter into instrument cluster diagnostics.
2. Enter into special functions and WOW the cluster on.
3. WOW the cluster off.

Does the Low Washer Fluid indicator turn off?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 7

1. Fill the windshield washer fluid bottle if low.
2. Disconnect the windshield washer solvent level switch connector.
3. Turn the ignition switch off.
4. Use a DMM on the ohms scale and measure the resistance to ground of terminal A circuit 99 BLK/WHT.

Is the resistance equal to the specified value?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

With the DMM on the ohms scale measure the resistance across the windshield washer solvent level switch terminals.

Is the resistance equal to the specified value?

∞

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

Go to Step 6

Locate and repair an short to ground in circuit 99 BLK/WHT.

Did you find and repair the circuit problem?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

Go to Step 7

Replace the windshield washer solvent level switch. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

Replace the instrument panel cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Is the repair complete?
