- Open the windows.
- Close all the vehicle doors.
- Ensure the IP dimmer switch is in the OFF position.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
- Open and then close all the vehicle doors. Perform this step one
door at a time.
Did the courtesy lamps turn ON with the door open and then OFF with
all the doors closed?

- Close all the vehicle doors.
- Ensure all the doors are locked.
- Start the engine.
- Press the brake pedal firmly and hold down.
- Shift the transaxle into DRIVE while observing the door locks.
- Shift the transaxle into PARK while observing the door locks.
- Stop the engine.
- Observe the door locks lock when shifting the transaxle out of
PARK and the door locks unlock when shifting the transaxle into PARK.
