Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the rear shelf trim. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

  3. Object Number: 415115  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the radio antenna amplifier lead from the rear window antenna.

  5. Object Number: 415099  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the radio antenna amplifier lead from the body wiring harness antenna lead.
  7. Remove the tape from the radio antenna amplifier leads.

  8. Object Number: 415112  Size: SH
  9. Remove the antenna amplifier retaining bolt.
  10. Remove the antenna amplifier from the roof inner side rail.

  11. Object Number: 415106  Size: SH
  12. Disconnect the antenna amplifier lead from the windshield.

  13. Object Number: 415102  Size: SH
  14. Remove the antenna amplifier harness retainers from the roof inner side rail.

  15. Object Number: 415100  Size: SH
  16. Remove the bolt to the antenna amplifier ground lead.
  17. Remove the antenna amplifier ground lead from the roof inner side rail.
  18. Remove the antenna amplifier harness from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 415112  Size: SH
  1. Install the antenna amplifier harness to the vehicle.

  2. Object Number: 415104  Size: SH
  3. Install the antenna amplifier harness retainers to the roof inner side rail.

  4. Object Number: 415106  Size: SH
  5. Connect the antenna amplifier lead to the windshield.

  6. Object Number: 415100  Size: SH
  7. Install the antenna amplifier ground lead to the roof inner side rail.
  8. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  9. Install the bolt to the antenna amplifier ground lead.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the antenna amplifier ground bolt to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  11. Install the antenna amplifier to the roof inner side rail.
  12. Install the antenna amplifier retaining bolt.
  13. Tighten
    Tighten the antenna amplifier retaining bolt to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  14. Connect the radio antenna amplifier lead to the body wiring harness antenna lead.

  15. Object Number: 415115  Size: SH
  16. Connect the radio antenna amplifier lead to the rear window antenna.

  17. Object Number: 415116  Size: SH
  18. Apply new tape to the radio antenna amplifier leads.
  19. Install the rear shelf trim. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  20. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
