Did you perform the BCM Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 3

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Body Control System in Body Control System

1. Install a scan tool.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
3. WOW the instrument cluster ON.

Does the door ajar light illuminate?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 6

1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
2. Close all of the doors.
3. Using the scan tool, observe the instrument cluster inputs.
4. Open and close the doors.

Does the door ajar light illuminate and the input toggle ON and OFF?

Go to Step 5

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Body Control System in Body Control System

1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
2. Close all of the doors.
3. Using the scan tool, observe the instrument cluster inputs.
4. Open and close the doors.

Does the door ajar lamp input toggle ON and OFF?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Body Control System in Body Control System

Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
