For 1990-2009 cars only
- Disconnect the cruise control cable from the throttle lever then from the cruise control module.
- Ensure the cruise control cable moves in and out of the cruise control cable casing freely and smoothly.
- Replace any sticking or binding cruise control cables. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement .
- Replace any cruise control cable adjuster lock that does not hold under normal operating conditions. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement .
