Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement Front Door

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Remote Mirror Replacement or Power Mirror Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 325893  Size: SH
  3. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip machine screw in the rear position.
  4. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 325893  Size: SH
  1. Press the front door outer belt sealing strip into place.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

    Important: Align the strip properly to the door inner panel for screw installation.

  3. Install the front door outer belt sealing strip machine screw in the rear position.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the outer belt sealing strip machine screw to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  5. Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Remote Mirror Replacement or Power Mirror Replacement .

Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement Rear Door

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 325953  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear door outer belt sealing strip screw.
  2. Use your fingertips in order to pull the sealing strip from the door flange.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 325953  Size: SH
  1. Press the sealing strip into place on the door flange.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the rear door outer belt sealing strip screw.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the outer belt sealing strip machine screw to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).
