Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement Front

1. Remove the parking brake pedal, if replacing the left front hose. Refer to Parking Brake Lever Pedal Assembly Replacement in Park Brakes.
2. Remove the acoustical patch from along the base of the front hinge pillar.
3. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.



4. Slide the drain hose off the connector tube at the sunroof module.
5. Slide the drain hose off the drain tube between the front door hinges.
6. Remove the hose from the vehicle.

1. Position the sunroof drain hose in the vehicle.

Important: To aid in installation, lubricate both inside ends of the sunroof drain hose with general purpose lubricant GM P/N 12345579 or equivalent.

2. Starting at the sunroof module, route the drain hose down the front pillar.
3. Press the sunroof drain hose onto the sunroof module drain tube and the drain tube in the front pillar.
4. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
5. Install the acoustical patch.
6. Install the parking brake pedal, if replacing the left front hose. Refer to Parking Brake Lever Pedal Assembly Replacement in Park Brakes.

Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement Rear

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
3. Remove the upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
4. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.



5. Slide the sunroof drain hose off from the sunroof module connector tube.
6. Remove the sunroof drain hose from the rear pillar.



7. Slide the drain hose from the drain tube at the base of the rear pillar.
8. Remove the sunroof drain hose from the vehicle.

Important: To aid in installation, lubricate each end of the hose with general purpose lubricant GM P/N 12345579 or equivalent . A channel is provided in the inner sheet metal for the routing of the drain hose, use tape to secure the hose in this channel.




1. Install the sunroof drain hose to the vehicle.
2. Install the sunroof drain hose to the drain tube at the base of the rear pillar.
3. Install the sunroof drain hose to the rear pillar.



4. Press the sunroof drain hose onto the sunroof rear drain tube.
5. Make certain that the rear drain hoses are properly routed in the metal roof slot and are taped in place.
6. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
7. Install the upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
8. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
9. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
