  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the Lumbar Adjuster Switch connector D to ground:
  2. Move the lumbar switch to the AFT position.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the Lumbar Adjuster Switch connector C to ground .
  2. Move the lumbar switch to the Fore position.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the Lumbar Adjuster Switch. Refer to Lumbar Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 10

  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the Lumbar Adjuster Relay connector B to ground.
  2. Move the appropriate Lumbar Adjuster Switch to the AFT position.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the Lumbar Adjuster Relay connector E to ground.
  2. Move the Lumbar Adjuster Switch to the Fore position.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the Lumbar Support Relay .

Is the repair complete?

  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the Lumbar Motor connector A to ground.
  2. Move the Lumbar Switch to the AFT position.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the Lumbar Support Motor connector B to ground.
  2. Move the Lumbar switch to the Fore position.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the Fore/AFT Lumbar Support Motor. Refer to Front Seat Lumbar Support Replacement .
