  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the Lumbar Adjuster Switch connector B to ground.
  2. Move the Lumbar Adjuster Switch to the UP position.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the Lumbar Switch connector A to ground.
  2. Move the Lumbar Adjuster Switch to the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the Lumbar Adjuster Switch. Refer to Lumbar Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the Lumbar Adjuster Relay connector B to ground .
  2. Move the Lumbar Adjuster Switch to the UP position.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the Lumbar Adjuster Relay connector E to ground.
  2. Move the Lumbar Adjuster Switch to the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the Lumbar Support Relay.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the UP/Down Lumbar Support Motor connector A to ground.
  2. Move the Lumbar switch to the DOWN position.

  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the UP and Down Lumbar Support Motor connector B to ground.
  2. Move the Lumbar switch to the UP position.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the Up/Down Lumbar Support Motor. Refer to Front Seat Lumbar Support Replacement .
