This bulletin is being issued to add the following "Caution" statement to the Side Impact Air Bag Inflator Module Replacement procedure in the SIR sub-section of the Service Manual. Please add this information to your Service Manual.

When replacing a Side Impact Air Bag Inflator Module on the above described vehicles, always refer to the following caution.

Caution: Following the deployment of a side impact air bag, replace the following parts:

   • The seat back trim
   • The seat back pad
   • The seat back frame
Failure to do so may cause future personal injury.
