Schematic Reference: Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Schematics

Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Retained Accessory Power .

Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Retained Accessory Power

1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
2. Disconnect the RAP relay.
3. Inspect the power windows, radio and the sunroof for correct operation.

Do the sunroof and the power windows operate?

Go to Step 3

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Test for a short to battery in the power windows, radio and sunroof supply voltage circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Replace the RAP relay.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 5

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

System OK
