The following service procedures require either a programming or a setup event performed for a complete repair.

The following criteria must be met before performing the programming or learning procedure:

    • The vehicle must be placed on a flat level surface.
    • There must be no occupants in the vehicle.
    • Any additional cargo weight in the rear compartment must be removed.
    • All doors must be closed.

Headlamp Control Module Replacement

If the headlamp control module is replaced, the control module programming procedure must be performed. Refer to Service Programming System (SPS).

Headlamp Control Module Reprogramming

Do not reprogram the headlamp control module unless directed by a service procedure or a service bulletin.

If the headlamp control module needs to be reprogrammed, refer to Service Programming System (SPS).

Setup for Component Replacement

The replacement of one or more components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.
