Preliminary Procedures

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.

•	Vehicles equipped with LTD/U20XE. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.

•	Vehicles equipped with LE5/U24XE. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.

3. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.
4. Remove the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement.

Generator Wiring Harness

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Tighten
15 N·m (11 lb in)
