Preliminary Procedures Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement. Move the window to the full up position. Remove check link cover.
1	Front Side Door Check Link Fastener (Qty: 2) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 9 N·m (80 lb in)
2	Front Side Door Check Link Assembly Procedure Remove the check link from the inside of the door.

Component Name

Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
Move the window to the full up position.
Remove check link cover.

Front Side Door Check Link Fastener (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Front Side Door Check Link Assembly

Remove the check link from the inside of the door.
