Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2009 🢒 Regal 🢒 Safety and Security 🢒 Remote Functions 🢒 Ignition Lock Key Transmitter Antenna Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front side door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  2. Move the window to the full up position.
  3. Disconnect the ignition lock key transmitter antenna electrical connector.

    4. Object Number: 2019726 Size: SH
  4. Remove cover cap (1) from the front side door.

    5. Using a small flat-bladed tool, release the cover cap from the front side door.

  5. Remove the ignition lock key transmitter antenna from the front side door.
    6. • Pull the ignition lock key transmitter antenna (2) outwards and hold.
    • Turn fastener (1) to the left and to the mechanical stop.

       Note: Ignition lock key transmitter antenna (2) must now be secured in pulled position.

  6. Remove fixed rear handle part (1).

    7. Object Number: 2019729 Size: SH
  7. Pull the ignition lock key transmitter antenna (1) to the rear and remove.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the ignition lock key transmitter antenna.
    2. • Guide ignition lock key transmitter antenna into front side door panel and latch door handle cage.
    • Insert fixed front handle part.
    • Turn fastener to the right and to the mechanical stop.

       Note: Hold the ignition lock key transmitter antenna taut while screwing and lightly counterhold fixed handle part.

    • Connect the ignition lock key transmitter antenna electrical connector.
  2. Install the cover cap into front side door.
