Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 474465 Size: SH
  1. Remove the coolant heater cord retainer from the left diagonal brace (1).
  2. Cut the coolant heater cord tie straps at the engine wiring harness (2, 3, 4).
  3. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

  4. Cut the coolant heater cord tie straps at the engine wiring harness (5).
  5. Disconnect the coolant heater cord from the coolant heater (6).
  6. Remove the coolant heater cord from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 474468 Size: SH

    Notice: The heater cord must not touch the engine, hot pipes, manifold, or any moving parts. Route the cord to the left front of the engine compartment securing with tie straps as necessary to prevent damage.

  1. Install the coolant heater cord to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the coolant heater cord to the coolant heater (6).
  3. Install a new coolant heater cord tie strap at the engine wiring harness (5).

  4. Install a new coolant heater cord tie straps at the engine wiring harness (4, 3, 2)
  5. Install the coolant heater cord retainer to the left diagonal brace (1).
